why the engines are mounted very close to the fuselage in twine engine aircraft?

الجواب

And, in case of single engine, the moment force that accurse should be balanced with the rudder moment around the Z axes. where if the engine far from the root, that will produce high moment that need big rudder to balance the aircraft.
